The turning point??

To me, giving up something is a normal experience that happens everyday, every hour, or even every second. Every person has his own role on the acting stage of the society, and that means we can’t have everything completed in our lives. I always give up things in buying, comparing, and choosing. Logically, the movement of giving up always creates the movement that is named as a turning point. I’ve never stopped learning and thinking about things that I had learned and I’m going to explore. These imaginary keys of my life affect and influence my thoughts immediately when they just run through my mind. The ideas of what to do and what not to do have been in focused as I grow up. Choosing the way to give up things that I wanted to have or to do, and things that seem meaningless to me is an interesting part in my life. As the action of giving up could happen in every second, the turning point could happen in the same time also. Reading a book, hearing someone says something, or making a different decision can all result a turning point in different lives.

Vicarious Pleasure

The life lived cannot be rejected to live afresh a new one
The time passed can never again be regained
The youthful vision can never again be visualized
But the child, youth and old age remind us of the life lived.

The old memory and the new reality give a vicarious pleasure
At least to have this pleasure, a child is most essential.
Seeing the natural development of the child, longings can be satiated
And before our own eyes, the child achieving the bliss can be enjoyed

Life is Difficult

Recounting the obstacles and challenges that we face today is not pleasant. The most abbreviated list would have to include concern about future job opportunities, the physical dangers that exist on nearly every street in America, and, from what I hear, the decreasing quality of the educational environment in our schools, from elementary schools all the way through our most respected colleges and universities. We can see how it’s easy for even the most gifted young person to wonder what lies ahead and begin to lose hope about the possibilities for happiness.

“Life is difficult.” Those words happen to present a major theme in The Road Less Traveled by Dr. M. Scott Peck, a man I see as one of my most interesting modern philosophers. Does that mean life is bad, or life is unhappy, or life is an impossible challenge, or even that anything about life is negative? In my opinion, no. But yes, I agree with Dr. Peck. Life is difficult

Let it awake

As the Jupiter running through the golden spike,

As the combinations of the West and the East,

As the combinations of bleedings of Chinese’s and Irish’s,

As the combinations of the celebrations and death,

As the combinations of the luxury and boomtowns,

As the combinations of bravura and fear,

Thousands of emotions come from their eyes into mine.

Art created the mysteries,

Mystery involved the history,

History carried out the phylogeny,

Phylogeny showed the verity.

Where the mind is without fear,

Where the knowledge is mixed,

Where the words came out from the truth,

Where the early industrial art had deeply influenced the modern lives,

Where the gold and mines combined all of the people

Into that heaven of freedom, suffering, conviviality, and diversifications

People, let this country awake.
